Things to keep in mind
  • Pain can be minimal if a qualified doctor does it the as anesthesia can be used locally on that area. Make sure only sterilized equipment and disposable needles are being used and piercer wears latex disposable gloves for different clients.
  • Find out weather the after treatment services are provided and how are they and whether any advice or help will be available in case problems arise later on.
  • Be sure about the process and think clearly about the whole situation before you go in for it and try to relax as the calmer you stay during the process, the smoother it will be.
  • Keep your hair pulled back, away from your face to avoid getting it caught in your piercing. It is advisable to keep your eyes shut once it is about to begin as the sight of the needle usually gives a scare to a lot of people. Take deep breaths to get through the piercing
  • Decide carefully what jewelry would look best in the piercing keeping the aspects like fashion, health etc. in mind and then finalize.
  • Rings and studs look much better than safety pins and paper clips. Use metals like Titanium, stainless steel and niobium work well with body chemistry and are least likely to cause or promote infection.
  • After care in eyebrow piercing
  • After care is of utmost importance. Healing completely takes on an average about a month and a half. The after care as prescribed by the peircer should be strictly followed without any neglect as in this period the piercing is very susceptible to infections.
  • But if proper care and precaution is taken then the time passes away without any infection.
