.Purchase the commonly available hydrogen peroxide, not the much stronger product sold at beauty supply stores (unless you want very bleached hair).
.Wash your hair and remove excess moisture with a towel. Your hair should be damp. For an all-over highlight, pour the hydrogen peroxide, undiluted, over your head and hair.
.For chunks of highlight, take sections of your hair and wipe them with a cloth saturated with the hydrogen peroxide. Make sure to get all the way up to the roots.
.For highlights on the top hair layer only, take your hydrogen peroxide-soaked cloth and wipe it over the top layer of your hair
.Once you've applied the hydrogen peroxide to get the results you want, go outside and stay there until your hair dries. For best results choose a sunny day when the weather is warm and a breeze is blowing.
.You can repeat this procedure to make your highlights even lighter. Enjoy your new look!
