Peaches & Cream Moisturizing Lotion
Peel and mash one very ripe peach. Stain through a sieve to extract all the juice. Mix peach juice with an equal quantity of fresh cream. Keep refrigerated.
High Protein Moisturizer
Beat 1 egg yolk into 1 cup whole milk. Apply to face with fingertips. Bottle and store remainder in refrigerator.
Apply any of the following vegetable, seed or nut oils to the skin
a) Virgin olive oil
b) Sesame oil
c) Peanut oil
d) Avocado oil
Use 2 parts rose water and 1 part glycerin to make a lotion. Apply nightly and work into skin.
Buy a pound of natural margarine from the health food store, NOT the supermarket. Store in refrigerator. Apply enough to cover smooth skin. It will absorb into the skin and surprisingly, does not leave a greasy residue.
Rich Rose Cream for Hand care
¼ cup rose petals
1 tbsp rose hips
½ cup hot, not boiling, distilled water
1 tbsp beeswax, grated
1 tbsp cocoa butter
½ cup almond oil
1 tbsp liquid vitamin E
7 drops rose essential oil
In a small bowl, crush rose hips and rose petals with a wooden spoon. Cover with warm water and let sit over night. Strain liquid into glass container. Melt beeswax and coca butter in a small double boiler over medium heat, stirring constantly. Mix in almond oil. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Mix in the rose liquid, vitamin E, and rose essential oil. Mix until very well blended. Cool completely and pour into a glass bottle/jar and close tightly.
